Flags Universe tries to inspire minds both young and old with the true meaning of flags, for a flag is not just a piece of cloth.

While a search for meaning of the word 'Flag' gives the following results on Google: 

> a piece of cloth or similar material, typically oblong or square, attachable by one edge to a pole or rope and used as the symbol or emblem of a country or institution or as a decoration during public festivities.

Ask any person, what comes to their mind when they hear the word 'flag'. For most people its their national flag. Both Indians and Germans would imagine a tricolour, but when you enquire, the colors would be different.

The flags bring a sense of pride and patriotism, each country has a story to say, about their flag, there is a reason for each colour or symbol on the flag. 

Why does a country have an AK 47 assault rifle on its flag and their neighbour has a bird on their flag?

However, the symbolism behind the red was left unexplained. From a continental viewpoint, the green, yellow and red are the colours of the Pan-Africanist movement.; it is the only Pan-Africanist flag to utilize a diagonal pattern in its design.
